Nonton Evakuasi Jenazah di Air Terjun Kebo Iwa, Pria Terjatuh dari Tebing
Pria Jatuh Saat Menyaksikan Evakuasi di Air Terjun Kebo Iwa
Insiden kembali terjadi di Air Terjun Kebo Iwa, Desa Mengening, Kecamatan Kubutambahan, Buleleng. Pada Jumat pagi sekitar pukul 10.00 Wita, seorang pemuda bernama Wayan Sridana (23) terjatuh dari tebing setinggi sekitar 20 meter ketika ia menonton proses evakuasi korban tenggelam.
Menurut dua saksi mata, Kadek Wira Jati (18) dan Putu Sudiana (40), Sridana sempat duduk di tepi tebing sambil terlihat gemetar. Tidak lama kemudian, ia kehilangan keseimbangan dan terpeleset hingga jatuh ke dasar tebing. Kejatuhan itu membuatnya mengalami luka lecet di dada, sobekan pada bagian kiri wajah, serta luka lecet di tangan kiri.
Petugas Bergerak Cepat Menolong Korban
Setelah kejadian itu, warga dan petugas gabungan langsung bertindak cepat. Mereka mengevakuasi Sridana dari dasar tebing dan membawanya ke Puskesmas Kubutambahan II. Korban kemudian mendapatkan penanganan medis.
Kasi Humas Polres Buleleng, Iptu Yohana Rosalin Diaz, menjelaskan bahwa kondisi medan di sekitar air terjun sangat berisiko. Ia menegaskan bahwa bebatuan yang licin kerap menyebabkan pengunjung terpeleset, terutama saat proses penyelamatan berlangsung.
Evakuasi Korban Tenggelam Juga Berlangsung di Lokasi yang Sama
Sebelumnya, tim gabungan sedang mengevakuasi jenazah Gede Angga Putra Pratama (15) yang tenggelam saat perayaan Umanis Galungan. Pada hari kedua pencarian, tim menemukan jasad Angga di dasar kolam air terjun.
Setelah menemukan korban, anggota Basarnas, Satpolairud, Polsek Kubutambahan, aparat Desa Mengening, linmas, dan pecalang bekerja sama dalam proses evakuasi. Menurut Yohana, seluruh proses berjalan lancar berkat koordinasi seluruh unsur di lapangan.
Potensi Bahaya yang Perlu Diwaspadai Pengunjung
Area Air Terjun Kebo Iwa memang memiliki medan yang menantang. Selain berbatu, lokasi itu kerap menjadi licin karena percikan air. Kondisi tersebut membuat pengunjung harus berhati-hati, terlebih saat banyak orang berkumpul untuk melihat proses penyelamatan.
Karena itu, warga diminta menjaga jarak aman dari tebing dan tidak berdiri di titik yang berisiko selip.
Peristiwa Serupa Pernah Terjadi di Lokasi Lain
Insiden jatuh dari tebing bukan kali pertama terjadi di kawasan wisata air terjun. Kasus serupa sebelumnya terjadi di Air Terjun Tiu Pupus, Lombok Utara, yang menyebabkan seorang warga tewas setelah diduga terpeleset dari ketinggian.
